Shipping

The vast majority of items on this site are shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS) or Fedex Ground. Shipping charges will be calculated based upon the weight and size of the product you are purchasing, and the geographic zone in which you live. All products sent UPS are fully insured for their retail value.

Because of their excessive weight and size, many items on this site cannot be sent express or next day air. DNS Stores, Inc. make every possible effort to (re)use recycled packaging materials collected from local businesses; unfortunately, we are not always able to control the type of packaging used by our 3rd party shippers. Please help close the loop by reusing or recycling all packaging materials.

In some instances (like with overseas packages), it might be necessary to send a product by Insured Parcel Post (USPS). Pallet and bulk orders are sent via common carrier. Please inspect all goods for breakage immediately upon receipt. For any shipment that is refused without prior notification, you will automatically be charged the full shipping charges. Sorry, but unless special arrangements are made, we cannot ship to PO Boxes.

Lead-times quoted on the site are based on estimates from our manufacturers. Although we work with our vendors to ensure the timeliest method of delivery, and the accurate portrayal of lead times, DNS Stores, Inc. reserves the right to make adjustments to lead times due to changing market conditions, product discontinuations, and manufacturer delays that were not predictable. DNS Stores, Inc. cannot be held responsible for delivery delays beyond estimated lead times as represented on the site.

Damaged Goods

If an item is received damaged or broken, notify the shipper immediately then contact our sales office so that we may remedy the situation. Please retain the tracking numbers and keep all damaged goods / packaging for later inspection by the shipper. Any and all damage claims must be reported to DNS Stores within 72 hours of delivery. If merchandise is damaged or defective, we will arrange for repair or replacements at our discretion. Any products which do not conform to the manufacturers specifications will be replaced at our discretion. DNS Stores is not responsible for any damage not reported to DNS Stores within 72 hours of delivery No Exception. Order Acceptance

Your order is reviewed for accuracy and verified with the manufacturer as soon as it is received. When ordering from our website, please read the text description carefully to confirm exactly what is included in your order. If it appears unclear, please contact us, so that we can provide you with additional information. As soon as you place your order, we begin the procurement process with our vendors. Once you have placed your order, we will allow a 4 hour window in which you may cancel, update, or change your order to other merchandise without penalty. Once we have placed the order at your request, DNS Stores, Inc. and you, our customer, each become obligated to complete payment of the purchase price. For that reason, we are unable to accept cancellations, in either whole or part, once the order is placed.

If you do any of the following, it will be treated as an unauthorized cancellation of your order, subject to a cancellation fee of 45% of your order plus actual shipping charges: 1) Refuse your shipment because at the time of delivery you see the product and decide it is no longer what you want or 2) Return the merchandise to the sender without prior authorization. 3) All used product, bottled solutions, accelerants, books, test kits, worm bedding, live composting red worms and night crawlers can never be returned.

In cases where manufacturers inform us of changes in availability, you will be notified as soon as possible. Such information can cause delays in your estimated shipping time. DNS Stores, Inc. is not responsible for such changes in availability or for any other inadvertent errors on our site.

Cancellation Policy

Once an item has been processed, it is not possible to cancel. Once data is transmitted to our regional fulfillment centers and factory warehouses, orders cannot be cancelled. If a customer decides they no longer want an item after it has been process and shipped, you will still have to pay for shipping and any associated restocking fees.

Delays and Back Orders

Most orders are processed the same day they are received. Products in stock are normally shipped out within a few days, drop-ship items within 3-5 days. If an item is out-of-stock or backordered, we can usually provide the buyer with a guestimate of availability. If shipment has been delayed for other reasons, we try our best to notify customers so that proper delivery arrangements can be made. Though we make every possible effort to honor customer requests, we cannot always guarantee specific color choices with units that have several colors available.

Replacement Parts

If the warranty does not cover replacement parts, or if it has expired, DNS Stores, Inc. can usually find or order parts for most of the products list on this site. Sometimes the pieces are available for free, other times there is a nominal charge. Please contact Customer Service for more information. In the body of the email, please specify what item is in need of repair and what specific parts are needed.

DNS Stores, Inc. reserves the right at any time to modify, alter or update these policies, and the consumer agrees to be bound by such modifications, alterations or updates. However, if you have received confirmation of your order and changes have been made to policies in the meantime, your order will not be affected by any of the changes to our policies. In addition, DNS Stores, Inc. reserves the right to make adjustments or corrections to product information due to errors, changing market conditions, discontinuation of a product or typographical or photographic errors. DNS Stores reserves the right to refuse to process orders shipped to any address or placed through any credit card number at the sole and complete discretion of DNS Stores.

Occasionally, there may be information on our website that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies .or- omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). DNS Stores will not be liable or responsible for any such inaccuracies, errors, changes or updates. DNS Stores reserves the right to change any price at which we offer goods or services and to correct any errors in the pricing contained on our website. We shall have no liability for any such changes or errors and are not bound to fulfill orders at old or erroneous prices.
